We’ve been invited to dinner at an acquaintance’s home. We do not know what is on the menu, but we had like to take a bottle of wine as a hostess gift. What kind of wine would be acceptable? Is there something other than wine to take as a gift? It’s an informal setting with no meal being served. I am the only man among four other women and I am sure they are planning on drinking wine. I want to show up with a bottle without their knowlege what type of wine should I bring??? |
